Overview

Our client is seeking a Building Surveyor to manage a portfolio of property damage claims arising from subsidence or perils (fire, flood, storm, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Handle claims/projects up to £100k in value from start to finish, ensuring the best possible outcome for both the customer and the company.
  • Visit site(s) to assess damage and determine causation and policy liability.
  • Write and submit full reports outlining findings and commenting on the nature and extent of damage.
  • Negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and other parties involved in the claim.

Qualifications

  • MRICS or MCIOB qualification is preferred but not essential.
