We have immediate opportunities available for either MRICS or FRICS chartered surveyors nationwide. These are long term, Freelance / Self-employed roles with exceptional earning potential.
Our client has developed their own, easy to use, question based, iOS based, on-site software, which is fully court compliant. This enables concise information to be captured during visits and ensures that longhand reports and Scott Schedules being typed out later at your desk are consigned to history.
These roles are ideally suited to surveyors who would like to build up their exposure to building pathology and expert witness work. Their current work portfolio covers mainly housing disrepair, but also includes large loss surveying and various other related disciplines.
Role Description
This is a remote role for a MRICS or FRICS Building Surveyor on a freelance basis. As a chartered surveyor, you will be responsible for a range of activities that include:
- Inspecting houses and apartments
- Conducting surveys
- Assessing defects and producing associated repair specifications
You will work independently but with the full backing of a supportive team.
Qualifications
- Hold an MRICS or FRICS professional designation
- Have extensive experience in Building Surveying
- Working understanding of HHSRS and the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience in producing repair specifications
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Apple iOS devices and be comfortable with remote work technology
