Our client is seeking a Multi‑Skilled Engineer with a strong Electrical bias to join their team at their Runcorn site. This is a permanent role offering stable hours, excellent overtime rates, and the opportunity to work within a supportive engineering environment.

Role

  • Electrical-focused role (75% Electrical / 25% Mechanical)
  • Installation, servicing, and maintenance of site equipment
  • Carrying out electrical and mechanical calculations
  • Completing risk assessments and ensuring works are carried out safely
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards
  • Providing technical support and guidance to colleagues
  • Attending and resolving breakdowns (overtime paid where required)

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a multi‑skilled or electrical maintenance role
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical codes and standards
  • Proven analytical and fault‑finding skills
  • Domestic electrical qualifications and experience are highly desirable
  • Flexible approach with the ability to respond to breakdowns and call‑outs

Working Hours & Overtime

  • Monday to Friday 08:30 – 16:30 (8‑hour shifts / 40 hours per week)
  • Overtime and emergency call‑outs required

Overtime Rates

  • Hours over 40 per week paid at time and a half
  • Sunday call‑outs (day or night) paid at double time
  • Minimum 4‑hour call‑out payment (paid at time and a half)
