Electrician - £55,000 - £62,000 p/a + Overtime!
Our client, a leading UK-wide organisation, are looking for an Electrician to join their installations team. Working independently and throughout the UK.
The role includes the installation and maintenance of systems at our customer’s sites predominately.
This role will also include other installation work for the company, including but not limited to the installation of network infrastructure cabling (Cat5, Cat6, Cat6a etc.)
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all installations and maintenance activities.
- Keep detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of access control systems to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to access control systems, including hardware malfunctions and software errors
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all installations and maintenance activities
- Provide training and support to clients on the use of access control systems.
- Keep detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Qualifications
- Experience in installing and maintaining electrical installations systems.
- Experience with Data cabling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Certified Electrician ( JIB Gold card)
- Containment experience desired
- Data installation experience desired as most installations involve this.
- Installation of various IT technologies is beneficial
- The salary is
£55,000 - £62,000 per annum dependant on experience plus opportunities for overtime!
This is a permanent position with our client, not a subcontractor role, so you will be Employed, and provided with all associated benefits:
