Our client is a leading UK-wide organisation looking for an Electrician to join their installations team. The role requires working independently and travelling throughout the UK. The role includes installation and maintenance of electrical systems at customers' sites, primarily. Other installation work involves network infrastructure cabling (Cat5, Cat6, Cat6a, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all installations and maintenance activities.
- Keep detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of access control systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to access control systems, including hardware malfunctions and software errors.
- Provide training and support to clients on the use of access control systems.
Qualifications
- Experience in installing and maintaining electrical installation systems.
- Experience with data cabling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Certified Electrician (JIB Gold card).
- Containment experience desired.
- Data installation experience desired as most installations involve this.
- Installation of various IT technologies is beneficial.
