Role Overview
The paralegal position provides support to the team of Knowledge Lawyers within the Corporate division.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the Knowledge Lawyers in monitoring developments of law and practice
- Conducting research, using internet and other research tools
- Helping to manage specialist online and legal know-how materials
- Writing and testing approved AI prompts
- Helping optimise the firm’s curated knowledge for AI
- Assisting with the document management of precedents
- Creating and maintaining online know-how
- Distributing know-how materials to relevant members of the Group
- Administrative tasks
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Educated to at least degree level
- Exposure to company law (whether through degree/LPC/SQE or previous employment)
- IT skills (in MS Office software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new IT skills and other database systems
- AI literate
- Experience in conducting in-depth internet searches
- 6 months to a year’s work experience in an office-based environment (preferable but not essential)
- An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies
