At Get Licensed, we have helped over 400,000 people start their careers in the security industry. Now we want to tell those stories in a new way. We are looking for a creative storyteller who lives and breathes TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short-form video. You will capture life inside our training courses, share the stories of security professionals across the UK, and create scroll-stopping content that builds pride in the industry, engages our learners, and grows our brand.

What you will do:

  • Capture stories: film in our training classrooms and out in the industry, talking to trainers, learners, and security officers.
  • Create content: produce 5–10 TikToks/Reels per week — short, engaging, and shareable.
  • Edit fast: cut and package videos with captions, text overlays, trending audio.
  • Spot trends: apply TikTok/IG trends to the security industry in a way that feels authentic.
  • Build community: celebrate learners and professionals, share reviews, class moments, and industry pride pieces.
  • Plan and publish: work to a weekly content calendar tied to training schedules and industry events, while leaving space for spontaneous content.
  • Engage and optimise: monitor performance, double down on what works, learn from what doesn’t.

What we are looking for:

  • 2–4 years’ experience creating short-form video (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
  • Skilled at filming, editing (CapCut, Premiere, Canva), and publishing.
  • Confident talking to people and drawing stories out of them — trainers, learners, security staff.
  • Strong storytelling instincts: knows how to hook viewers in 2 seconds.
  • Data-aware: understands watch time, saves, shares, and how to optimise content.
  • Comfortable travelling to training centres and security sites across the UK.
  • A passion for building community and celebrating the people who keep our society safe.
  • Experience in education, training, or blue-collar/frontline industries.
  • Ability to present on camera if needed.
  • Design/thumbnail basics.

Expected Behaviours:

We are primarily non-hierarchical, allowing all our colleagues to take responsibility from day one. We are committed to achieving excellence whilst having fun and being highly curious. We are passionate about hiring fantastic individuals who thrive in an open, fast-paced and collaborative environment, are accountable to themselves, and are willing to roll their sleeves up to get stuff done.

There are certain behaviours we expect from our colleagues, and the key ones are below. Fundamentally we expect everyone at Get Licensed to Do The Right Thing. We measure performance against these behaviours as part of each team member's monthly performance review:

  • Agility: We move fast, adapt quickly, and continuously improve.
  • Curiosity: We never stop learning and seeking better ways to do things.
  • Excellence: We set new standards and strive to exceed expectations.
  • Love: We care deeply for the work we do, for each other, and for our customers.

What success looks like:

  • 20–40 high-quality videos per month, reaching and engaging security workers and learners.
  • Growth in followers, watch time, shares, and brand recognition.
  • Direct links between content and course bookings, app downloads, and Trustpilot reviews.
  • A growing online community that sees Get Licensed as the voice of the security industry.
