Children’s Residential Team Leader

Location: Tarleton | Pay Rate: £15/hr + £60 sleep‑in | Shift Pattern: 2on / 4off

We require candidates to have gained NVQ Level 3/4 in Children and Young People within 2 years of working in a children’s residential setting.

The role

As Team Leader, you’ll lead shifts, support and mentor staff, and oversee day‑to‑day operations. You’ll act as the link to management, conduct supervisions, and step in as Key Worker when needed.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead shifts and maintain high standards of care
  • Support care planning, assessments, and reviews
  • Organise activities and outings for young people
  • Work with external professionals and agencies
  • Ensure accurate records and oversee documentation
  • Promote best practice in line with policies and SOP
