We are partnering with an ambitious and well-backed index business launching a next-generation equity indices platform, and are looking to hire a senior sales professional with deep experience selling equity index solutions to institutional clients. This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage and play a key role in building the commercial franchise of a new index provider targeting asset managers, ETF issuers, banks, wealth platforms and institutional investors.

The Role

  • Selling equity index licensing, custom indices and data solutions to institutional clients
  • Developing relationships with ETF issuers, asset managers, banks and wealth platforms
  • Driving new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
  • Working closely with product and leadership teams on market positioning and go-to-market strategy
  • Helping shape the commercial build-out of a high-growth index business

Candidate Profile

We are specifically seeking individuals who have experience selling index products and solutions from firms such as S&P Dow Jones Indices or similar institutional index providers. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Proven track record selling equity index products, custom index solutions or licensing solutions
  • Existing institutional relationships across asset managers, ETF providers and financial institutions
  • Strong understanding of passive investing, benchmarks, ETFs and index construction
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and appetite to help build a growing business
  • Ability to operate credibly with senior institutional stakeholders
