We currently have an opportunity available for a Data Centre Engineer to join us. Working within a prestigious client data centre, the position is very customer orientated and requires a strong focus on customer requirements. As our Data Centre Engineer, you will deliver IMACD and Incident Resolution Services within Workplace Technologies and Data Centre Operational spaces.

The duties range from small alterations such as patching and fault finding to performing large-scale equipment and device refreshes including new installs, decommissions, moves, and maintenance functions. Data Centre Engineers work on shifts that contribute towards providing support services 24x7x365 and report to the local Service Delivery Manager.

Please note successful candidates would be required to work a shift pattern such as: 4 Days on, 4 Days off - 12 Hour shifts (7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am).

Responsibilities of our Data Centre Engineer will include:

  • Change control management
  • Incident management and resolution
  • Management and tracking of Assets
  • Supervision and escorting of 3rd Party Vendors
  • Installation and decommission of network hardware and structured cabling
  • Compliance with ONNEC and client health and safety standards
