A well‑established building services contractor is looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands‑on on site and taking full responsibility for the delivery of mechanical packages across commercial refurbishment and fit‑out projects. You’ll be working on multiple live sites, managing day‑to‑day site operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring all mechanical works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard. The company delivers a range of mechanical building services projects across commercial, education, healthcare, and industrial sectors, with a strong reputation for quality delivery and repeat business.

The Role

  • Manage day‑to‑day site operations across mechanical packages
  • Coordinate subcontractors, labour, and site activities
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
  • Attend site and client meetings, providing progress updates
  • Ensure all health & safety standards and RAMS are adhered to
  • Manage quality control and resolve on‑site issues as they arise

The Person

  • Previous experience as a Mechanical Site Manager within building services or M&E contracting
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems
  • Hands‑on approach with strong site management experience
  • Good understanding of construction sequencing and coordination
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • SMSTS preferred
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and drive site performance
