A well-established, family-run electrical contractor is looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their close-knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working within a smaller business where no two days are the same, and everyone pulls together to get projects delivered successfully.

You’ll take ownership of multiple electrical projects at once, typically managing around 3 live jobs with the largest project valued at approximately £500k. This role would suit someone who is hands-on, commercially aware, and happy to wear a few hats whilst helping support the continued growth of the business.

The company delivers a range of electrical projects across commercial, education, healthcare, and industrial sectors, with a strong reputation for quality and repeat business.

The Role

  • Manage and oversee multiple electrical projects from pre-construction through to completion
  • Coordinate labour, materials, subcontractors, and site activities across 3 live projects
  • Attend client and site meetings, maintaining strong working relationships throughout
  • Assist with project planning, procurement, and programme management
  • Manage project budgets, variations, and commercial reporting
  • Prepare RAMS and ensure all health & safety procedures are adhered to

The Person

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager within commercial or industrial projects
  • Comfortable working within a smaller business environment and taking ownership
  • Hands-on and adaptable attitude with a willingness to muck in where needed
  • Commercially aware with experience managing project costs and programmes
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
