An established and growing business specialising in underfloor heating systems and products is looking to appoint an experienced CAD Designer to join their team in Dartford. This is an excellent opportunity for a CAD professional with specific experience designing underfloor heating systems who is confident using LoopCAD and understands the practical requirements of designing UFH layouts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed underfloor heating designs, working closely with customers, engineers and internal teams to ensure systems are designed correctly and efficiently.

The Role

  • Produce detailed underfloor heating system designs using LoopCAD
  • Create accurate 2D CAD drawings and technical layouts for UFH projects
  • Design pipe layouts, heating loops, manifold positions and zoning
  • Interpret architectural and construction drawings to produce suitable UFH designs
  • Review project requirements and ensure designs meet technical specifications
  • Amend and update drawings based on customer or project requirements
  • Work closely with sales, technical and installation teams
  • Provide technical support and advice relating to underfloor heating layouts

The Person

The successful candidate must have previous experience designing underfloor heating systems and be comfortable using LoopCAD. We are looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience designing underfloor heating systems
  • Hands-on experience using LoopCAD – essential
  • Strong understanding of UFH systems, pipe layouts, loops, manifolds and zoning
  • Previous CAD/design experience within the heating, plumbing, M&E or construction sector

The Opportunity

  • Permanent, full-time position
  • £30,000 - £40,000 basic salary, dependent on experience
