Are you an experienced Electrical Tester with solar PV experience looking for a long-term, permanent position within a growing and well-established renewable energy contractor?
This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding solar PV business delivering high-quality residential and commercial installations across the South Coast. The company has built a strong reputation for technical excellence, compliance, and repeat business, and due to continued growth is now looking to appoint a skilled Electrical Tester to strengthen their testing and commissioning team.
If you are detail-driven, compliance-focused, and confident testing solar PV systems to the highest standards, this role offers strong earning potential, stability, and long-term career security.
Your Role as an Electrical Tester:
- Carry out testing and inspection of solar PV installations
- Complete electrical test certification and documentation
- Ensure all works comply with current regulations and standards
- Identify faults, remedial works, and non-compliances
- Work closely with installation and commissioning teams
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality on site
As an Electrical Tester, You Will Have:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Tester
- Solar PV testing experience is essential
- 2391 or 2394 & 2395 testing qualifications
- ECS / Gold Card
- Strong attention to detail and a professional approach
- Full UK driving licence
Package & Benefits:
- £50,000 – £52,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
- Overtime available with OTE up to £70,000
