An established middle-market advisory firm is looking for an analytical, resourceful, and relationship-oriented Business Development Analyst to support business growth and strengthen its deal pipeline.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys researching companies, identifying business opportunities, analyzing market trends, and building relationships with business owners and senior executives.

- Compensation: 100% Commission-Based

- Advertised typical annual earnings: $60,000–$120,000+
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify promising middle-market companies.
- Evaluate prospective businesses based on revenue, profitability, ownership, and potential transaction timing.
- Initiate and develop relationships with business owners, executives, and referral partners.
- Schedule qualified introductory meetings for senior deal professionals.
- Prepare prospect research briefs covering business models, industry trends, and comparable transactions.
- Maintain CRM records and monitor pipeline activity.
- Prepare weekly activity and conversion reports.
- Support marketing campaigns and business development initiatives.
- Share market insights to improve prospect targeting and positioning.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Comfortable reviewing basic financial statements.
- Ability to communicate professionally with senior decision-makers.
- Interest in privately held businesses, financial markets, and business valuation.
- Strong organizational skills and CRM experience.
- Comfortable working with performance goals and commission-based compensation.
- Experience in business development, research, finance, or business brokerage preferred.
