ABOUT THE COMPANY
New Birth Day Nursery is a family run private day nursery that delivers care for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
At New Birth we pride ourselves in providing challenging, open ended provision, with endless opportunities for the children to explore their environments . We strive to deliver a positive and fruitful educational experience.
Every one of our educators is a trained professional with a deep passion for education. Many of our educators have specialized training in fine arts such as music, art and theatre.
We provide a stimulating environment for children to learn and develop at their own pace; we have nurseries in 3 locations across East London.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Your responsibilities may include:
Support managers with the day-to-day running of the nursery
Supervise and support children's learning and development at all times
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Liaise with and support parents and family members
Assist with preparing meals, snacks, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the nursery
Comply with Health & Safety policies and safeguarding procedures
Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality where appropriate
Work collaboratively as part of a team
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, parents' evenings, and fundraising events
Support the creation of a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
Assist with day-to-day nursery operations and activities
Participate in ongoing training and professional development
TRAINING
During your apprenticeship, you will:
Receive regular training and support from Excellence Solutions Limited
Complete at least 20% off-the-job training
Study towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
Gain hands-on experience in a real working environment
Develop knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and early years education
Build the skills required for a long-term career in the childcare sector

Any relevant childcare qualifications or experience will be beneficial
