SUMMARY
This is an exciting opportunity for a caring, enthusiastic individual who is passionate about working with young children. The role is ideal for someone looking to start or develop a career in early years childcare while gaining a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification. You will work as part of a supportive team, learning on the job while receiving structured training.
ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our partner is a well-established nursery providing high-quality childcare and early education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Located in a modern setting with excellent transport links, the nursery offers a warm, inclusive, and stimulating environment. Children benefit from a purpose-built outdoor space and a curriculum that encourages learning through play, exploration, and discovery in both indoor and outdoor environments.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Your responsibilities may include:

Supporting managers and senior staff with the day-to-day running of the nursery

Supervising and supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing at all times

Complying with health and safety policies and safeguarding procedures

Liaising with and supporting parents and family members in a professional manner

Assisting with domestic duties such as preparing snacks and meals and cleaning equipment

Maintaining confidentiality at all times where appropriate
-
Working effectively as part of a team and contributing to a positive working environment

Attending occasional out-of-hours activities such as training sessions, staff meetings, parents’ evenings, and fundraising events

Supporting day-to-day operations

Working alongside experienced staff

Participating in ongoing training and development
TRAINING
During your apprenticeship, you will:

Receive regular training and support from Excellence Solutions Limited

Complete at least 20% off-the-job training

Study the Early Years Educator Level 3 apprenticeship standard

Gain hands-on experience in a real early years working environment
REQUIREMENTS
Essential Qualifications

GCSE English (Grade A–C / 4–9)

GCSE Mathematics (Grade A–C / 4–9)
