SUMMARY

We are looking for a caring, motivated, and enthusiastic apprentice to join a rewarding role supporting children and young people. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in building a career within children’s services, youth support, or social care while gaining valuable hands-on experience and a recognised qualification. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced professionals to support young people in achieving positive outcomes, developing independence, and improving their wellbeing in a safe and supportive environment.

Our partner provides support and independent living services for young people and vulnerable individuals. They are committed to creating a positive, safe, and nurturing environment where young people are encouraged to develop confidence, independence, and life skills. The apprentice will join a supportive and professional team focused on making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Supporting young people and teenagers to achieve positive and lasting change in their lives
  • Building positive professional relationships through care, compassion, and commitment
  • Recognising and assessing individual needs and supporting appropriate interventions or referrals
  • Working collaboratively with professionals, families, and external organisations to improve outcomes
  • Supporting day-to-day operations
  • Working alongside experienced staff
  • Participating in ongoing training and development

TRAINING

During your apprenticeship, you will:

  • Receive regular training from Excellence Solutions Limited
  • Complete at least 20% off-the-job training
  • Study the Children, Young People & Families Practitioner apprenticeship standard
  • Gain hands-on experience in a real working environment

REQUIREMENTS

Desired Qualifications:

  • GCSE English (Grade A–C / 4–9)
  • GCSE Mathematics (Grade A–C / 4–9)

Candidates may inform the employer of any additional qualifications or relevant experience, as prior learning may affect the training plan.
