This is an exciting opportunity for a caring, enthusiastic individual to begin a career in childcare while gaining a nationally recognised qualification. The successful apprentice will work within a supportive nursery environment, developing practical skills and professional knowledge while contributing to the care, learning, and development of young children.

They work closely with parents to support each child’s individuality, creativity, and development. The apprentice will join a dedicated team of professionals committed to maintaining high standards of care, safety, and learning while encouraging continuous professional development.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting managers and senior staff in the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Supervising and supporting children’s learning, play, and development at all times
- Ensuring health, safety, and safeguarding procedures are followed
- Assisting with daily routines, including meals, snacks, and cleaning of equipment
- Liaising with parents and carers in a professional and supportive manner
- Maintaining confidentiality and accurate records where required
- Attending training sessions, staff meetings, and occasional out-of-hours activities
- Supporting day-to-day operations
- Working alongside experienced staff
- Participating in ongoing training and development
During your apprenticeship, you will:
- Receive regular training from Excellence Solutions Limited
- Complete at least 20% off-the-job training
- Study the Early Years Educator Level 3 apprenticeship standard
- Gain hands-on experience in a real working childcare environment
