ABOUT THE COMPANY
This is a family run business that has been established for over 25 years. Our two settings are purpose built, and spacious with generous outdoor area and is situated in the heart of East London 1.2 miles from Queen Elizabeth Park. A lovely nursery where children are safe, stimulated and encouraged to develop. Kind staff and good communication with parents.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support managers with the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Supervise and support children's learning and development at all times
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Liaise with and support parents and family members
- Assist with preparing meals, snacks, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the nursery
- Comply with Health & Safety policies and safeguarding procedures
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality where appropriate
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, parents' evenings, and fundraising events
- Support the creation of a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with day-to-day nursery operations and activities
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
TRAINING
During your apprenticeship, you will:
- Receive regular training and support from Excellence Solutions Limited
- Complete at least 20% off-the-job training
- Study towards the Level 2 or 3 Early Years Educator qualification
- Gain hands-on experience in a real working environment
- Develop knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and early years education
- Build the skills required for a long-term career in the childcare sector
