WHAT YOU WILL DO
Your responsibilities may include:
• Assist dentists during examinations and a variety of clinical procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments
• Sterilise and decontaminate dental instruments and equipment
• Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control
• Greet patients and help them feel comfortable throughout their visit
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care under supervision
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical charting
• Support appointment scheduling and administrative duties
• Ensure dental materials and supplies are stocked and organised
• Work collaboratively as part of the dental team
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
TRAINING
During your apprenticeship, you will:
• Receive regular training and support from Excellence Solutions Limited
• Complete at least 20% off-the-job training
• Study towards the Level 3 Dental Nurse (GDC 2023) qualification
• Gain hands-on experience in a real working environment
• Build the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified Dental Nurse
• Become eligible to register with the General Dental Council (GDC) upon successful completion
