WHAT YOU WILL DO
Your responsibilities may include:
β’ Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
β’ Assist the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures
β’ Prepare treatment rooms before and after appointments
β’ Stock and organise the dental surgery
β’ Mix dental materials as required
β’ Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical charting
β’ Book and manage patient appointments
β’ Sterilise and decontaminate dental instruments
β’ Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control
β’ Process dental radiographs under supervision
β’ Ensure the surgery remains clean, organised, and fully equipped
β’ Work collaboratively as part of the dental team
β’ Participate in ongoing training and professional development
TRAINING
During your apprenticeship, you will:
β’ Receive regular training and support from Excellence Solutions Limited
β’ Complete at least 20% off-the-job training
β’ Study towards the Level 3 Dental Nurse (GDC 2023) qualification
β’ Gain hands-on experience in a real working environment
β’ Build the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified Dental Nurse
β’ Become eligible to register with the General Dental Council (GDC) upon successful completion
