WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms before and after appointments
- Stock and organise the dental surgery
- Mix dental materials as required
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical charting
- Book and manage patient appointments
- Sterilise and decontaminate dental instruments
- Maintain high standards of infection prevention and control
- Process dental radiographs under supervision
- Ensure the surgery remains clean, organised, and fully equipped
- Work collaboratively as part of the dental team
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
TRAINING
- Receive regular training and support from Excellence Solutions Limited
- Complete at least 20% off-the-job training
- Study towards the Level 3 Dental Nurse (GDC 2023) qualification
- Gain hands-on experience in a real working environment
- Build the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified Dental Nurse
- Become eligible to register with the General Dental Council (GDC) upon successful completion
