ABOUT THE COMPANY
Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery West Acton is a welcoming and dedicated nursery committed to providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. The nursery works closely with families and supports apprentices throughout their learning journey and professional development.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Your responsibilities may include:
• Support managers with the day-to-day running of the nursery
• Supervise and support children's learning and development at all times
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Liaise with and support parents and family members
• Assist with preparing meals, snacks, and cleaning nursery equipment
• Comply with Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Maintain confidentiality where appropriate
• Work collaboratively as part of a team
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, parents' evenings, and fundraising events
• Support the creation of a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
• Assist with day-to-day nursery operations and activities
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
TRAINING
During your apprenticeship, you will:
• Receive regular training and support from Excellence Solutions Limited
• Complete at least 20% off-the-job training
• Study towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
• Gain hands-on experience in a real working environment
• Develop knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and early years education
• Build the skills required for a long-term career in the childcare sector
