What You Will Do
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Ensuring health and safety standards are followed at all times
- Assisting with preparing meals, snacks, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment
- Supporting children’s learning, play, and development in a safe environment
- Communicating with parents and carers professionally
- Maintaining confidentiality where appropriate
- Supporting day-to-day operations
- Working alongside experienced staff
- Participating in ongoing training and development
Training
During your apprenticeship, you will receive regular training from Excellence Solutions Limited, complete at least 20% off-the-job training, study the Early Years Educator apprenticeship, and gain hands-on experience in a real working environment.
Requirements
- Desired Qualifications: GCSE English (Grade A–C / 4–9), GCSE Mathematics (Grade A–C / 4–9)
- Skills: Communication skills, attention to detail, organisation skills, customer care skills, problem-solving skills, team working, initiative, patience, professionalism
- Other Requirements: A positive attitude and willingness to learn, punctual and reliable, ability to work well with children and as part of a team, willingness to attend occasional out-of-hours activities such as training sessions, staff meetings, and events
