SUMMARY
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and hardworking Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly and professional team. In this role, you will work closely with the dentist, assisting with a wide range of dental procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and comfort. As an apprentice, you will receive comprehensive in-house training and be enrolled on a Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing. Upon successful completion of the course and all required components, you will be eligible to register with the General Dental Council (GDC).

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Your responsibilities may include:
- Greeting patients
- Chairside assisting during treatments
- Stocking and organizing the surgery
- Preparing the surgery prior to treatments
- Charting and managing patient records
- Mixing dental materials
- Maintaining a clean and tidy surgery environment
- Managing infection prevention and control
- Booking patient appointments
- Sterilization and decontamination of instruments
- Processing radiographs
- Supporting day-to-day operations
- Working alongside experienced staff
- Participating in ongoing training and development
TRAINING
During your apprenticeship, you will:
- Receive regular training from Excellence Solutions Limited
- Complete at least 20% off-the-job training
- Gain hands-on experience in a real working environment
REQUIREMENTS
- Be aged 16+ at time of enrollment
- Be a UK or EEA resident, or having lived in the UK or EEA for the past three consecutive years
- Not be in full-time education at enrollment
- Not hold a qualification at the same level or above in the same field you wish to study
