Duration: 12–18 months

ABOUT THE COMPANY

The nursery works closely with families to deliver high-quality childcare and supports apprentices throughout their learning journey and professional development.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Your responsibilities may include:
- Support managers with the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Supervise and support children's learning and development at all times
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Assist with preparing meals, snacks, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the nursery
- Support children's social, emotional, and physical development
- Comply with Health & Safety policies and safeguarding procedures
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality where appropriate
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, parents' evenings, and fundraising events
- Support the creation of a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with day-to-day nursery operations and activities
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
TRAINING
During your apprenticeship, you will:
- Receive regular training and support from Excellence Solutions Limited
- Complete at least 20% off-the-job training
- Study towards a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner or Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
- Gain hands-on experience in a real working environment
- Develop knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and early years education
- Build the skills required for a long-term career in the childcare sector
