As a Trainee Dental Nurse Apprentice, you will work closely alongside dentists and clinicians, assisting with a variety of dental procedures while helping to deliver exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Your responsibilities may include:

Greeting and welcoming patients

Providing chairside assistance during dental treatments

Preparing surgeries before and after patient appointments

Stocking and organising dental materials and equipment

Charting and managing patient records
-
Mixing dental materials as instructed by the dentist

Maintaining a clean and tidy clinical environment

Following infection prevention and control procedures
-
Booking and managing patient appointments
-
Sterilisation and decontamination of instruments
-
Processing dental radiographs (subject to training)

Supporting the dental team with day-to-day clinical duties

Participating in ongoing training and professional development
TRAINING
During your apprenticeship, you will:

Receive regular training and support from Excellence Solutions Limited

Complete at least 20% off-the-job training
-
Study the Dental Nurse (GDC 2023) apprenticeship standard

Gain hands-on experience in a real working environment
-
Develop the knowledge and practical skills required to become a qualified Dental Nurse

Become eligible to register with the General Dental Council (GDC) upon successful completion of the programme
