SUMMARY

Our partner is offering an exciting part-time Administrator Apprenticeship within a creative, therapeutic, and community-focused arts practice. This role provides a unique opportunity to support art therapy services, creative workshops, and artistic projects that positively impact individuals, care homes, and charitable organisations. Working closely with an experienced Art Therapist and Artist, the apprentice will gain hands-on experience in administration, coordination, and creative project support within a small, supportive business. The apprentice will work flexible hours across Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, gaining real-world experience while developing valuable workplace and organisational skills. This role is ideal for someone looking to begin their career in administration while being immersed in a creative and meaningful environment.

Our partner helps youth explore, experience, and excel in the arts, introducing them to visual arts and media, giving them the opportunity to develop real skills in these fields, and guiding them towards achieving their academic and career goals. We believe that the arts have the power to create a more vibrant, caring, and sustainable world led by a generation of youth who value creative thinking, diverse voices, and stronger connections between all people. Our partner directly serves over 2,000 young people in classes and programs throughout the year. We indirectly reach over 8,500 people through events, exhibitions, and public art installations, and nearly 10,000 through our extensive online presence.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Liaising with Care Homes and Charities: Help coordinate and offer our art workshops in their spaces, bringing therapeutic art experiences to more people.
  • Applying for Grants: Assist in researching and applying for grants to support and expand our art therapy programs.
  • Managing Art Orders: Help manage and fulfill orders for our artwork, ensuring a smooth process for our clients.
  • Applying to Exhibitions: Support in applying to art exhibitions to showcase our work and connect with the broader art community.
  • Facilitating Clay Workshops
  • Supporting day-to-day operations
  • Working alongside experienced staff
  • Participating in ongoing training and development

TRAINING

During your apprenticeship, you will:

  • Receive regular training from Excellence Solutions Limited
  • Complete at least 20% off-the-job training
  • Study the Business Administrator apprenticeship
  • Gain hands-on experience in a real working environment

Essential Qualifications

  • GCSE English (Grade A–C / 4–9)
  • GCSE Mathematics (Grade A–C / 4–9)
