What You Will Do
- Support managers with the day-to-day running of the nursery
- Supervise and support children's learning and development at all times
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Liaise with and support parents and family members
- Assist with preparing meals, snacks, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the nursery
- Comply with Health & Safety policies and safeguarding procedures
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality where appropriate
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, parents' evenings, and fundraising events
- Support the creation of a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with day-to-day nursery operations and activities
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Training
During your apprenticeship, you will receive regular training and support from Excellence Solutions Limited, complete at least 20% off-the-job training, study towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, gain hands-on experience in a real working environment, develop knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and early years education, and build the skills required for a long-term career in the childcare sector.
