Our client is currently seeking a qualified Senior Vice President, Enterprise Architecture & Infrastructure to join their team onsite in Andover, MA.
The Vice President of Enterprise Architecture & Infrastructure is a strategic, hands‑on technology executive responsible for defining and executing the global architecture and infrastructure vision for a rapidly scaling, innovation‑driven organization. This leader ensures that the company’s technology foundations—spanning enterprise systems, digital platforms, cloud environments, and operational infrastructure—are secure, resilient, and positioned to support accelerated growth and international expansion. With a blend of architectural expertise and operational discipline, this executive drives modernization efforts, builds scalable technology roadmaps, and ensures seamless performance across hybrid environments. The role partners closely with business, manufacturing, logistics, and digital leaders to enable reliability, agility, and innovation across the enterprise.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Enterprise Architecture Strategy
- Owns the multi‑year enterprise architecture vision and roadmap
- Establishes and governs reference architectures across ERP, data, digital, and manufacturing systems
- Leads modernization initiatives leveraging cloud‑native architectures, microservices, APIs, and automation
- Ensures architectural alignment with security, compliance, and regulatory needs
- Infrastructure & Cloud Operations
- Oversees global 24x7 infrastructure and service operations
- Ensures ultra‑high availability for mission‑critical systems, including Command Center and manufacturing platforms
- Directs cloud and on‑prem infrastructure strategy, performance, and security
- Implements observability frameworks, automation, and data‑driven operational reviews
- Executive Partnership & Communication
- Serves as a key advisor to the CIO and senior leaders
- Communicates complex architectural decisions clearly to non‑technical audiences, including executive and board stakeholders
- Ensures IT capabilities and operational priorities are tightly aligned across global functions
- Governance, Vendor Management & Financial Oversight
- Manages multimillion‑dollar budgets with strong financial discipline
- Leads vendor strategy, negotiations, and performance management to drive value and efficiency
- Oversees technology due diligence and integration for acquisitions
- Establishes and enforces policies for lifecycle management, change control, and operational standards
- Enterprise Build‑Out Expertise
- Brings proven experience delivering large‑scale enterprise infrastructure build‑outs, supporting major facility expansions or corporate site deployments
- Ensures build‑outs meet long‑term scalability, reliability, and security requirements
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 15+ years of progressive IT leadership, including 5+ years at the executive level overseeing enterprise architecture and cloud/infrastructure strategy
- Proven experience running global 24x7 SaaS, cloud, and hybrid environments
- Demonstrated success leading major enterprise build‑outs or complex facility infrastructure deployments
- Deep expertise in Azure, AWS, or GCP, and modern infrastructure management tools
- Strong executive presence with exceptional communication and stakeholder influence
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or MBA preferred
- Healthcare experience is preferred
Wage Range
The salary for this position is between $275,000 and $300,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
