Our client is currently seeking a qualified Finance and HR Business Partner to join their team onsite in Andover, MA and provide end-user support.
This multifaceted role needs a strategic mindset to align IT solutions with the functional goals and objectives of Finance and HR departments. This role essentially acts as a liaison between IT and HR Business functions contributing to improved HR processes, better data-driven decision-making, and enhanced employee experiences, ultimately benefiting the organization as a whole.
This role will focus on aligning HR strategies and services bridging the gap between HR and IT departments in the company and IT and Finance Business functions focusing on leveraging ERP and other IT solutions to streamline and optimize Finance processes, generate accurate reports and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Finance Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with Finance stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives. Act as a trusted advisor, translating functional requirements into actionable IT solutions. Provide strategic guidance on how technology can improve functional operations and decision-making.
- Data Management: Manage financial data within the ERP system and other IT solutions in use. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by regularly reconciling financial records. Implement data integration and synchronization between ERP and other IT applications.
- Requirements Analysis: Gather, document, and analyze business requirements. Work with functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and process automation. Create detailed specifications and design documents for IT projects.
- System Development and Integration: Implement and manage applications for Finance function. Manage data exchanges and interfaces between ERP and other applications.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Design and develop reports and dashboards using reporting tools. Perform data analysis to extract valuable insights for decision-making. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in the applications.
- Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure that systems and processes comply with industry regulations and security standards. Implement and maintain appropriate controls to safeguard financial data. Assist in financial audits by providing necessary documentation and data from the ERP system.
- User Training and Support: Provide training and support to users to ensure they can effectively utilize ERP and other applications by adhering to best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ERP and applications.
- Project Management: Lead or participate in IT projects related to finance and supply chain, from inception to completion. Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance processes and systems for Supply Chain functions. Streamline processes by leveraging ERP functionalities to increase efficiency and reduce manual tasks. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operations. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
HR
- Understand HR Needs: Must have a deep understanding of HR processes, policies, and objectives. Actively engage with HR leaders to identify their technology needs and challenges.
- Technology Assessment: Evaluate existing HR technology systems and tools to ensure they meet HR's requirements. Identify areas for improvement and potential upgrades.
- Technology Recommendations: Based on HR needs and objectives, recommend appropriate IT solutions, including HR software, platforms, and tools. Assess whether existing systems can be optimized or if new ones need to be implemented.
- Role Focus: HR Process Integration Lead. Fluency in Workday HR processes required, not deep configuration expertise. Combine HR knowledge with a finance background to bridge Workday, Oracle Fusion, and ADP systems. The role serves as a technical process liaison, guiding implementation while maintaining data security and system integrity.
- Workday Specialist Hiring Strategy: The role requires deep Workday HCM expertise and integration knowledge. Candidates should understand API interfaces between Workday and other systems. Industry experience in medical device or biopharma is desirable but not essential.
Wage Range: The rate for this position is between $150,000 - $200,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
