Welsh Speaker – Wrexham

Excell Supply are currently recruiting a confident and enthusiastic Welsh Speaker to work in schools across the Wrexham area. This role is ideal for individuals who are fluent in Welsh and are passionate about supporting learners in a Welsh-speaking or bilingual education setting. Opportunities may include classroom support, cover supervision or teaching roles, depending on experience and school requirements.

Role responsibilities

• Supporting teaching and learning through the medium of Welsh
• Delivering lessons or interventions in Welsh, where appropriate
• Supporting pupils with their language development
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff

We are looking for someone who

• Is fluent in spoken Welsh (essential)
• Has experience working with children or young people (preferred)
• Holds relevant qualifications for the role (QTS desirable for teaching roles)
• Is reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
