We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in the Woodchurch area, supporting pupils aged 11-19 with a range of complex learning needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about making a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs.

You will work closely with class teachers, therapists, and support staff to create an inclusive, safe, and engaging learning environment where every pupil can reach their full potential.

This is a specialised SEND setting for pupils with complex learning difficulties (CLD) aged 11-19. The purpose-built school offers high-quality education in a stimulating and engaging environment that nurtures, supports, and challenges pupils to become as independent and confident as possible. The school provides a bespoke curriculum, supported by a dedicated team of trained teachers and specialists who work hard to engage pupils at their individual point of learning. The focus is on offering each young person a personalised, enjoyable, and meaningful learning experience that promotes success and personal development.

As members of the REC (Recruitment & Employment Confederation) and umbrella body to the DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service), Excell Supply is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children. Candidates without an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service will have to apply for a new one.
