We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Early Years Nursery Practitioner (minimum Level 3) to join a friendly and supportive nursery team in Chester.
About the Role: You will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years, supporting their learning and development in line with the EYFS framework. You will help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS
- Observe, assess, and record children’s development
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children at all times
- Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated nursery team
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and care
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare (or equivalent)
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting (preferred)
- A warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
