We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Food Technology to join the successful Design & Technology department.
The Role
- Teach Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons
- Promote high standards of achievement, behaviour, and safety in food rooms
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and department

- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is working towards it
- Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for Food Technology
- Is committed to inclusive teaching and high expectations for all learners

We also have immediate opportunities for day-to-day supply, as well as long term placements across all subjects and areas across schools in North Wales, Cheshire, Wirral and Shrewsbury. Roles are flexible, we have full time and part time roles available.
Successful candidates should hold QTS, PGCE with a relevant Bachelor's Degree, a Bachelor of Education or the international equivalent. As members of the REC (Recruitment & Employment Confederation) and Umbrella body to the DBS, (Disclosure & Barring Service) Excell Supply is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children. All applicants will be subject to thorough employment checks and must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service certificate in place. Candidates without an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service will have to apply for a new one.
