Job Description

We are currently seeking a supportive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Wrexham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and keen to make a real difference in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities.
• Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist with preparing learning resources and managing classroom materials.
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils with additional needs, where required.

Requirements

• Experience working with children (in a school, childcare or similar setting).
• A positive, patient, and encouraging attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
• A relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3) is desirable but not essential.
