Religious Education/Religious Studies Teacher
Are you passionate about inspiring young minds to explore faith, belief, and ethics in a diverse and dynamic classroom?
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic RE/RS Teacher, this role is to teach Religious Education/Religious Studies to key stage 3 and key stage 4. This role is full time and is to cover a short term staff absence. This is a fantastic opportunity for either a newly qualified teacher or an experienced educator looking to make a meaningful impact on students' spiritual, moral, and cultural development.
What we’re looking for:
- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a specialism in Religious Education/Religious Studies.
- A strong understanding of the RE/RS curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- The ability to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- A commitment to encouraging open-minded, respectful dialogue about worldviews and beliefs
- A collaborative team player who is keen to contribute to wider school life
Your role and responsibilities will include:
- The delivery of KS3 and KS4 RE/RS curriculum
- Giving constructive and guided feedback to students both written and verbally
- Summative and formative assessment, guide progress through marking and feedback
- Attending departmental meetings
- Planning, delivering and marking lessons
