Teaching Assistant required for SEN school. We are seeking a compassionate, patient and proactive Teaching Assistant for an SEN school that specialises in supporting autistic pupils. You will work closely with teachers, therapists and families to create a calm, structured and nurturing environment where pupils can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
The Role
- Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation and sensory needs
- Helping to deliver personalised learning plans
- Encouraging independence and celebrating progress
- Creating a safe, predictable and positive classroom atmosphere
- Working collaboratively with staff to adapt activities and resources
- Building trusting, respectful relationships with pupils and families
