Excell Supply are currently recruiting for a motivated and reliable Teaching Assistant to work across primary and secondary schools in Whitchurch and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity to support pupils in dynamic and welcoming school environments, assisting teachers in delivering high-quality education and helping students achieve their best.
The Role:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Provide general classroom and small group support
- Assist with preparation of learning materials and classroom activities
- Encourage pupil participation and positive behaviour
- Support pupils with a range of learning abilities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable)
- Be adaptable, proactive, and confident in the classroom
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
- Hold a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
