As Electrical Design Engineer you will be responsible for the design and development of electrical circuitry to support our manufacturing and systems development processes.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Hands-on approach in the implementation of designs.
  • Support product development of xenon flashlamp systems.
  • Support existing products in the field.
  • Liaise with sub-contract suppliers.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years industry experience.
  • Experience in electrical system design (IEC 60204-1).
  • Experience in safety design (ISO 13849-1 & 13849-2).
  • Experience in fault-finding.
  • Good organisation in revision control/documentation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in commissioning systems (FAT & SAT).
  • Experience in high voltage design (IEC 60204-11).
  • Experience in E-Plan.
  • Experience in sizing capacitors.
  • Experience in supervision of system builds.
  • Experience in developing and trouble-shooting PLC/HMI programs.
  • Proficiency in Siemens PLC/HMI programs.
  • Proficiency in ladder logic.
  • Good organisation in coding/commenting.
