Excelerate is a leading provider of advanced technology and communications solutions for emergency services, government agencies, and critical sectors. We're looking for a hands-on, motivated Installation Engineer to join our growing team.
The Role
- You'll install and commission communication, network, and AV systems in vehicles and buildings. This includes:
- Running and terminating cabling (network, coax, AV, data)
- Installing server rack and IT equipment
- Setting up software and basic computer networks
- Testing systems, training users, and supporting delivery from start to finish
You’ll Need
- First fix cabling experience (network, AV, etc.)
- IT/networking knowledge and hands-on tool skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills
- Willingness to travel with overnight stays (UK & occasional overseas)
- Willingness to work at height using access equipment
