Excelerate is a leading provider of advanced technology and communications solutions for emergency services, government agencies, and critical sectors. We are looking for a hands-on, motivated Installation Engineer to join our growing team.

The Role

  • You'll install and commission communication, network, and AV systems in vehicles and buildings.
  • This includes:
    • Running and terminating cabling (network, coax, AV, data)
    • Installing server rack and IT equipment
    • Setting up software and basic computer networks
    • Testing systems, training users, and supporting delivery from start to finish

You’ll Need

  • First fix cabling experience (network, AV, etc.)
  • IT/networking knowledge and hands-on tool skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills
  • Willingness to travel with overnight stays (UK & occasional overseas)
  • Willingness to work at height using access equipment
