Overview
As a Care Assistant at our Ashlyn Care Home in Harlow, Essex, you will be part of a compassionate and welcoming team providing physical, emotional, and social support. Your dedication, reliability and support will make a difference every day. Excelcare is a family-owned Care Home group established for over 34 years. We provide the highest standards of care to older people with a range of needs including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health issues. By joining us you will become one of the ‘family’.
Responsibilities
- Assist with mealtimes, personal care and complete daily records, charts and care plans.
- Engage in meaningful activities with residents and promote independence, choice, dignity and respect.
What we are looking for from you
Experience in a care environment either in a care home, as a home care worker or caring for a loved one would be ideal; however, if you have a caring and kind approach and the desire to work with older people, you can become part of the Excelcare family.

Additional information
Salary: £12.85 - £13.25 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
Employment type: Part-time
Shifts: 12 hour night shifts from 8pm to 8am, Monday - Sunday. You must be able to work alternate weekends.
