As a Night Care Assistant at our Okeley Care Home in Chelmsford, you will be part of a compassionate and welcoming team providing physical, emotional, and social support. Excelcare is a family-owned Care Home group established for over 34 years. We provide the highest standards of care to older people with a range of needs including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health issues.
Salary: £13.45 - £13.85 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. You will work approximately 48 hours a week on days Monday to Sunday.
As a Care Assistant, you will be assisting with mealtimes, personal care, and completing current and appropriate documentation which includes daily record keeping, charts, and care plans. You will be engaging in meaningful activities with the people living in our care home while always promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect.
Experience in a care environment either in a care home, as a home care worker, or caring for a loved one would be ideal; however, if you have a caring and kind approach and the desire to work with older people, you can become one of the Excelcare family.
