Overview

As a Bank Care Assistant at our Aliwal Manor Care Home in Whittlesey, Cambridge, you will be part of a compassionate and welcoming team providing physical, emotional, and social support. Your dedication, reliability and support will make a difference every day. You will assist with mealtimes, personal care and complete current and appropriate documentation including daily record keeping, charts and care plans. You will engage in meaningful activities with the people living in our care home and promote independence, choice, dignity and respect. Excelcare is a family-owned Care Home group established for over 34 years. We provide the highest standards of care to older people with a range of needs including dementia, physical disabilities, and mental health issues. By joining us you will become part of the \\\"family\\\" and in return for your dedication and hard work you can expect.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with mealtimes, personal care and complete current and appropriate documentation including daily record keeping, charts and care plans.
  • Engage in meaningful activities with the people living in the care home.
  • Promote independence, choice, dignity and respect for residents.

Qualifications

Experience in a care environment either in a care home, as a home care worker or caring for a loved one would be ideal; however, if you have a caring and kind approach and the desire to work with older people, you could become part of the Excelcare family.
