Established in 2017, Excel Winner is leading the Thames City project in Nine Elms, part of Europe's largest regeneration initiative. We aim to transform the Vauxhall, Nine Elms, and Battersea Opportunity Area by introducing new homes, creating jobs, and developing biodiverse green spaces.
Summary of the Job
We are looking for an entry-level Commercial Assistant to support the department’s daily operations, with a focus on cost administration. The role includes assisting with data analysis, reviewing and preparing payment applications, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of cost control or commercial processes. Good attention to detail, basic analytical skills, and clear communication are important. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are also key.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in tracking project progress and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
- Support the management of contracts and commercial documentation, including drafting, filing, and tracking approval processes.
- Maintain daily communication with vendors, clients, and partners to support ongoing commercial activities.
- Assist in handling procurement, payments, and related commercial processes in a timely and compliant manner.
- Maintain and update business databases and filing systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Support market research, competitor analysis, and industry intelligence gathering.
- Provide general support including meeting coordination, documentation preparation, and other commercial-related assistance.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a commercial assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
