Summary of the Job: We are looking for an entry-level Commercial Assistant to support the department’s daily operations, with a focus on cost administration. The role includes assisting with data analysis, reviewing and preparing payment applications, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of cost control or commercial processes. Good attention to detail, basic analytical skills, and clear communication are important. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are also key.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in tracking project progress and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
- Support the management of contracts and commercial documentation, including drafting, filing, and tracking approval processes.
- Maintain daily communication with vendors, clients, and partners to support ongoing commercial activities.
- Assist in handling procurement, payments, and related commercial processes in a timely and compliant manner.
- Handle correspondence in both English and Chinese, if possible.
- Maintain and update business databases and filing systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Support market research, competitor analysis, and industry intelligence gathering.
- Provide general support including meeting coordination, documentation preparation, and other commercial-related assistance.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a commercial assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
