Excel Technical Consulting are currently seeking a powerplant workshop engineer for an exciting permanent position located in the south of the UK to support the safety, regulatory compliance and performance of engine maintenance activities for a well-known aerospace client at the forefront of cutting-edge military and electronic warfare testing whilst working to strict client and customer deadlines.

The daily responsibilities for this position will include:

  • Scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance for customer and client engines.
  • Investigating and repairing engine faults reported or found on engines through inspection.
  • Ensuring all documentation is maintained and progressed during maintenance activities.
  • Stripping, cleaning, inspecting, building, and testing of engines under team leader supervision.

Successful candidates for this position will have prior experience within an aerospace powerplant workshop with knowledge of gas turbine maintenance operations. Preferably, you will have hands-on experience in using precise measuring tools as well as further maintenance or workshop experience.

For the mentioned requirements, our client is offering an annual salary of around £40k with additional benefits and incentives on offer for the right applicant to join their team which includes long-term members placed by Excel.
