Hours: 7:00am - 5:00pm, 5 days per week (some weekend working required for servicing)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a site-based role where you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy mobile plant. Although the equipment is mobile, the role is based at a single site; you will not be travelling between customer locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair a wide range of heavy mobile plant.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
- Diagnose and repair engine faults using manufacturer diagnostic software.
- Identify and repair hydraulic faults and leaks.
- Repair and overhaul hydraulic rams and axles.
- Carry out welding and fabrication repairs where required.
- Ensure all machinery is maintained to a high standard and returned to service safely.
- Complete servicing during scheduled weekday and occasional weekend maintenance periods.
